Approximately the size of New Hampshire in the heart of Africa, the small country of Burundi produces one of the world’s most elegant coffee.  Bordered by beautiful Lake Tanganyika and Congo to the West, Tanzania to the Southeast and Rwanda (another incredible coffee producer) to the North, Burundi’s Ruvyironza River is debated as the southernmost source of the Nile River, however, there is no debate it is a powerful source for great coffee.   Gatara is a Commune located in the northern province of Kayanza bordering Rwanda and Masha refers to a central delivery site where a few thousand small farmers combine to process their coffee.
